The 10 Keys to success in Mrs. Robins class

Key Number 1: Do Not Procrastinate!!! I didn't use this key a few times and not using it made my life a lot more difficult than it needed to be, so again, Don't Procrastinate!!! Procrastinating makes life harder than it needs to be.

Key Number 2: Have fun but still get things done. You can still work hard while having fun Mrs. Robins makes sure of that with all of her lessons and projects.

Key Number 3: Read books and get into the 40 club for a party!!! Trust me if it was planned by Mrs. Robins it is going to be anyway. so just read the books and have a party.

Key Number 4: The class parties she has are pretty great. If you read Wednesday Wars you get cream puffs!! Also the Christmas Party is pretty fun, you get hot chocolate.

Key Number 5: Do your Writing Contests, They are a huge part of your grade and can be really fun. Also occasionally a essay we do for class overlaps with a contest and you get a two good grades for taking the time to do one.

Key Number 6: Do your Blog posts, this is obviously important or you wouldn't be reading this right now, they usually have fun/funny prompts and if you put in a little time at the beginning of the month you get it done way before its due.

Key Number 7: Pay attention in class and don't talk when you are supposed to be working (consider shade thrown chatty table). ;-)

Key Number 8: Read Mrs. Robins's blog it has good info and sometimes on the right days if you checked it you get candy. She also makes them interesting and tells you what is going on that week.

Key Number 9: Try to have an A at all times and if you do help the person next to you by not distracting them because you have a possibility of getting an all A's party for the class.

Key Number 10: Just have fun, she is really nice and will do her best to help you in any way she can you just have to be willing to help yourself.

The Top Ten Things That You Need To do in Order to Succeed in This Class!
By Bryce Christiansen

Mrs. Robins' 7th grade honors class is one of the best classes EVER, and the best way to change that is if you don't follow these ten tips.

#1:  DO NOT PROCRASTINATE!!! You should already know this, because everybody will tell you not to do this! If you procrastinate, most of your work will turn out sloppy, and that only leads to stress and bad grades. You only have two assignments per month, I suggest that you finish them at the start of the month, so you get them done on time.
#2: PAY ATTENTION DURING CLASS!!! A lot of the time, Mrs. Robins quickly explains to you certain assignments in order to have time for the newspaper. The only way you can get confused in this class is if you aren't listening! If you don't listen, then you will end up asking multiple people what to do, and you might miss a important detail. You might say "but I always know what to do! Even if I am not paying attention!". Trust me, PAY ATTENTION IN CLASS!!!
#3: READ!!! The fact that you are even in this class shows that you love to read. Make sure that you are constantly reading, so you don't fall behind with your grade. Plus, one of the perks of 7th grade, is the iread 40 club. If you don't read, then you won't be able to get into the iread 40 part at the end of the year!
#4: DO YOUR BEST IN CONTESTS!!! You might think that entering contests are dumb, but they are actually fun, especially when you get awarded for it. Take my word, don't just think of contests as a homework assignment.
#5: REMEMBER TO TURN THE RINGER OFF ON YOUR PHONE!!! If someone calls you during class, Mrs. Robins will answer it for you, and will talk to the person on the phone! In my opinion, I thought it was cool, because the telemarketers never called again, probably because of their fear of Mrs. Robins.
#6: GET ROBINS REWARDS!!! Very often we do a robins rewards drawing, and if your name is called then you get some pretty cool prizes. It isn't hard to get robins rewards, and the only thing you have to do is be on task, so try to collect as many robins rewards as you can!
#7: BE ACTIVE DURING DISCUSSIONS!!! A ton of times during the school year, we either do lit circles, or group discussions. If you are quiet the whole time, then you will either get a bad grade, or you won't learn to develop those crucial communication skills.
#8: BE CREATIVE!!! There are many things that you have to be creative on, (newspaper, assignments, etc..) and if you aren't creative, then it won't be interesting at all! Use your mind and your imagination
#9: DON'T PLAY GAMES ON THE CHROME BOOKS!!! If you are on chrome books, then you should be doing work. Even if you are done with your work, then you should be reading. If Mrs. Robins catches you playing games, then she will get extremely mad.
#10: HAVE FUN!!! This class shouldn't be stressful, and even if it is, then you deserve at least a little bit of fun. Good luck! (you won't need any if you follow these instructions:)

Wednesday, May 16, 2018

So, I've been hearing that some people needed tips for Mrs. Robin's Honors class. I have ten tips for y'all. Of course you might be already in class right now needing to make a blog yourself to show some of these tips, and I have some (like I already typed).

Tip #1
Don't play games in class.
This is one of the most important tips about this class. NEVER play games in Mrs. Robin's class. You probably shouldn't play games in any class but NEVER and I mean NEVER play video games in Mrs. Robin's class. Even though I have never experienced her wrath when you play games in her class, I heard it was not fun.
Tip #2
Don't procrastinate.
This, is self explanatory. Read on if you want. If you procrastinate you will get stressed 'n stuff and you might miss out on fun stuff.
Tip #3
Read more... Like seriously, read a LOT!
Reading is important in this class. If you thought you didn't need to read, your wrong. It's a LANGUAGE ARTS class!
Tip #4
Be prepared.
If you aren't prepared, why aren't you? You had like a entire month to get ready for school!
Tip #5
Be creative!
You probably know what I mean by this. Be creative and make creative things, it'll help you when your making essays and stuff.
Tip #6
Another cliche in other lists: Turn your phone in.
Wow, another cliche? Yeah. Well, if you don't turn your phone into the bag thing, if it rings or buzzes, then the teacher will confiscate your phone because they think you are texting or something.
Tip #7
Yet another cliche that really isn't even a tip! Have fun!
Have fun in this class, it isn't all about work! There are even some activities for you somewhere at the end of the school year and during it!
Tip #8
I can't believe I'm typing this but, do your monthly assignments
Simple, do your monthly assignments and you'll get a good grade. In fact, these assignments are extremely important to your grade!
Tip #9
BE KIND!
Yeah, what it says. Are you seriously acting like a jerk? You are not going to last long with the behavior in 8th grade, seriously, or in Mrs. Robin's class.
Tip #10
Finally, be quiet!
Be quiet... Just be quiet... No, you, stop talking... Are you still talking? Are you serious? Be quiet... It's gonna be important, Mrs. Robins is gonna get mad... NO!... STOP!... Fine, get in trouble or whatever.
That concludes my top ten totally original (not click bait) tips. Just add more memes to this and it'll be great.

Dear 7th Graders...

So, you made it into Honors LA!
There are some things you'll need to know, though.

          1. Don't procrastinate. It'll get you nowhere. Procrastinating is one of my weaknesses, and it will make your journey in Honors LA much harder.

           2. Always ask for help if you need it. Don't be afraid to, because Mrs. Robins will always help you out.

           3. Work hard and take any chance for extra credit that you can get. In the long run, it will definitely be worth it.

           4. Always laugh at Mrs. Robin's jokes. Even if they're not funny. They usually are, but always laugh. Period.

           5. Keep up with your reading. Do your book trackers when they're due, and try not to get too behind.

           6. Check your grades frequently and make sure you're keeping them up. When you finish your long year of 7th grade, the first thing your next school will look at are your grades.

           7. Not only do you need to keep up with your reading, but keep up with your work in general. If you miss a day, make sure you get caught up before it's too late to.

           8. Don't play games on the chromebooks! It can get you in big trouble and Mrs. Robins hates it. Use the chromebooks responsibly.

           9. Have fun. It may sound sort of stupid, but sometimes you'll need to just relax and have a little bit of fun.

           10. Finally, don't use "Bush Wookies" as your table name, everyone uses it.  Be creative. Have fun in Honors LA, 7th graders!

                                            - Tierney Christensen

                Hello All New 7th Graders!

Here are 10 things you need to know!!

10.DON'T PROCRASTINATE!! Please Please, do not procrastinate. It is supper bad for you. I procrastinated and it was very hard to catch up, because once you do it you get in the habit of dong it and then you don't stop.

9. TURN PHONES IN AND TURN THEM OFF. Before class starts you are instructed to turn your phone in and make sure you TURN IT OFF. If you don't and you get a call Mrs. Robins will answer it and embarrass you. ( she doesn't embarrass you badly.)

8. MAKE SURE YOU WORK WELL WITH PEOPLE. You work in groups a lot. So make sure you are friendly to others and have a positive attitude. And don't be bossy with your group, everyone gets a turn to be the leader.

7. KEEP YOUR GRADES HIGHER THAN A B-. It is really easy to keep your grade higher than a B. But, if you procrastinate it will not be easy for you. So, make sure you keep you grades up and don't procrastinate.

6. READ LIKE YOU HAVE NEVER READ BEFORE. When you are in the honors class you have to read 12 books a trimester. That means you read a book a week. And also if you read 4 extra at the end of the year you get to go to the iRead 40 party!!

5. YOU DON'T NEED TO BE STRESSED. You do not need to stress about homework and tests. I did and it made work harder for me, so DON'T STRESS. If you keep your grades up and you listen in class you have no reason to stress.

4. BE ORGANIZE. Please be organized. It makes the class way easier. You will be able to find your papers and not have to redo work.

3. HAVE FUN. Have fun. It is the best thing you can do in the class. When you have fun you are always happy.

2. BE CREATIVE. You need to be creative because you do the school newspaper, and everyone sees it. So make it interesting, you also do a lot of group projects to.

1.YOU WILL LOVE MRS. ROBINS. I bet you a million dollars that you will love Mrs. Robins. And she will love you too!

10 Tips for 7th Grade Honors

1. DO NOT PROCRASTINATE!!!!!!
If you do you will be behind and get a bad grade. If you have a bad grade you will be taken out of honors. And no one wants that. So make sure you get stuff turned in on time or before it is even due. It will make your life SOOO much easier if you get your stuff done. And believe me, it can be difficult sometimes. Even though honors may be tough, it is REALLY fun!!!!

2. READ READ READ!!!!!!
This may be a challenge for some of you. I personally read slow, but just always try to get your book trackers done. Honors must read 12 books a trimester so always stay caught up. If you get behind, it's okay. Mrs. Robins will be understanding about it. However, your grade will most likely go down.

3. HAVE A GOOD ATTITUDE!!!!!!
This is a must. If you walk in to Mrs. Robins room with a bad attitude, you are missing out on one of the best classes in the world! This class is full of entertaining jokes and really fun stories. I have had a great time in this class! I am really sad to leave. Just make sure you are always participating and being kind.

4. PLEASE I BEG OF YOU PLEASE HAVE GOOD ATTENDANCE!!!!!!
This is huge. Take it from me I've been there. If you are late or are not even there, you will be EXTREMELY behind. And trust me that will definitely take a toll on your grade. And I know it can be difficult sometimes. For instance you're sick, you are going out of town, you slept in, you missed the bus, the list goes on and on! But for the love of everything please make an effort to be in class.

5. BE QUIET!!!!!!
Please just be quiet, that is all you have to do. My table is always talking and we got super behind. She literally calls us the chatty table. Like seriously just be quiet.

6. BE CREATIVE!!!!!!
There are a lot of projects to do in this class. You have to be open-minded to get them done. Make them look good and nice. Trust me the better they look, the smarter you look.

7. TURN YOUR PHONE IN!!!!!!
Put your phone in the cubby and put it on silent. Not vibrate. SILENT!!! Mrs. Robins will answer it. And I mean that is freaking embarrassing. Although it is really funny if it isn't you!

8. BE PREPARED!!!!!!
If you come to class and don't have a pencil, book, or did not do the homework from the night before, you are basically screwed. Make sure you have the materials you need for the day. It will not only make your life easier but it will also make Mrs. Robin's life easier.

9. BE KIND!!!!!!
I know what you're all thinking, "we already know, we've been told to do this since preschool." Then DO IT!!! Being kind is the key to success in life. Mrs. Robins will not tolerate any rude behavior. Just don't even think of one rude comment! If you don't have anything nice to say, than don't say anything AT ALL!!!

10. CARE ABOUT IT!!!!!!
I know I said all those things about getting a good grade, but honestly one of the most important things is to just care about school and what you are doing. Know that there is a purpose and take the time to study and do your homework. In the long run if you care about it the rest will follow right behind it.

Now, I hope you take my advice, because if you do, you will have one amazing year with Mrs. Robins!

8. Work with others, and be good in a group project.

10 things you need to know to succeed in Mrs. Robin's honors LA class

1. Don't procrastinate. Because you are in honors you are going to get a little more work, it's just to hard to stay caught up and be successful if you are putting everything off til the last minute and let's be honest, the work that gets turned in late is never as good as the ones who get it in early or one time.

2. Read. Honors kids have to read a little bit more than other students and if your not caught up your grade will drop and you could get kicked out of Honors.

3. Do extra credit. If there is an opportunity to get extra credit take it! It never hurt to stay ahead of things in school, plus, if you get a bad score on a other assignment it won't hurt your grade because you are already have a high grade in the class.

4. Be social.  Mrs. Robins makes us talk with our table groups ALL THE TIME. If you don't know how to communicate well enough you are not going to do very well. Plus it's just a good life skill to know how to talk with other people.

5. Put your phone on silent.  If your phone goes off in class Mrs. Robins will answer it.  It can be really funny but she might have to take your phone away so don't risk it.

6.  HAVE FUN!!! This class is so much more fun than your typical LA class. Enjoy every moment because Mrs. Robins is literally the best teacher EVER! She will definitely be one of your all time favorites throughout your life!  She is hands down my favorite teacher ever and will probably always be.

7.  Keep your grades up! If your grade is below a B than you might get kicked out of honors, don't risk it, just do your work and get it in on time.

8. Don't get on Mrs. Robin's bad side.  If you are on her bad side it is just not fun.  Mrs. Robin's is a funny person and it's depressing if she doesn't tease you or anything so just be good and don't talk a lot and don't be mean to other people.

9.  Don't stress about the class!  It's not very hard and it can be stressful sometimes cause she gives you extra assignments because your in honors but just do your work and everything will be just fine.

10. Do your monthly assignments right once you get them! If you wait then they just end up being bad and you miss the chance to win a prize.  Plus it is less stressful and it is just nice to get it done with.

HAVE FUN!!! This is literally the BEST class in the world!!
10 things you need to succeed in Mrs Robins class

1. Do not procrastinate because if you think you can wait till the last second to get stuff done you are going to in for a big surprise.

2. Make sure you are always reading. If you are not your grad will go downhill, plus you will have the chance to go to a fun party.

3. Have fun in this class. You will do lots of fun activities in this class and it makes it even better if you have fun with it.

4. Don´t stress about this class. If you can get the work done you need to you will almost never have homework.

5. Make sure you  always stay on task or you will have work to catch up on.

6. Do your monthly assignments. These can effect your grade a lot but if you get them done as quick as possible you will not have to worry about them

7. Take your time when you are doing work. It is better to be one of the last people done and have the best work than be one of the first ones done and have bad work.

8. Make sure your phone doesn't go off in the middle of class. If it goes off Mrs. Robins will answer whoever is calling you and that can be very embarassing.

9. Make sure your grade stays up in Mrs. Robins class. If your grade drops to low you could be kicked out of honors and that would suck really bad. So, just do all your work.

10. Work well with others. You will be doing quite a few group assignments and it will help you, your team, and Mrs. Robins.

10 tips to succeed in Mrs. Robins honors LA class (The BEST class EVER)

10.  Do your monthly assignments!  Every month we have a writing contest and blog post (they're not that hard)!  DO THEM!!!  I can not tell you how important it is to do them, and turn them in on time!  Unfortunately, I learned that lesson the hard way!  Don't be like me, turn your assignments in on time!
9.  Work well with others!  If you don't do this, the class is going to be a lot harder!  We do a lot of table assignments, and if you can't work with other people it is going to be a lot harder for you!  Plus, everyone is super nice and funny!
8.  Turn your phone off!  If you don't, and your phone rings, things just got EMBARRASSING!  Mrs. Robins will answer your phone, and talk to the person that called you!  It's super funny for the rest of the class, but not so much for you!
7.  Keep your grade higher than a B-!  If you don't, you're going to get kicked out of honors!  At the end of each trimester, if your grade is below a B-, you have to move to a regular, non honors class!  And trust me that would not be fun!  Plus, you would miss out on all of the fun things we do in this class!
6.  Don't talk while Mrs. Robins is talking!  If you talk while she is talking, Mrs. Robins will call you out, and it's embarrassing!  You also won't be able to pay attention to everything Mrs. Robins has to say!
  5.  Have fun!  If you don't have fun in this class, you probably shouldn't be here!  This class is seriously so fun!  We do all sorts of fun activities and games!  But if you don't get your work done, you won't be able to participate in these things!
4.  Read! Read! Read!  This is one of the most important things for this class!  The bingo card makes it way funner, because every time you get a bingo, you get a candy!  You also have to do a book tracker for every book you finish reading, and they are not hard at all, so do them!
3.  Have fun with the newspaper!  Because you are in honors, you get to create the school newspaper!  It is seriously so fun!  You usually get on day per week to set aside all of your other work, and just work on the the newspaper!  Plus, you also get to work in groups, which is really fun because you get to know other people!
2.  Be prepared!  If you aren't prepared when you come into class, things will be A LOT harder!  When Mrs. Robins gives homework, (which is practically never) do it the day she assigns it!  If you come into class without your assignment done, you're pretty much screwed!
1.  And last but not least, the most repeated tip ever, DO NOT PROCRASTINATE!!!  Like seriously, do not!  It is the worst thing ever!  Just get your work done, rather than trying to worry about it at the end of the month!
If you follow these 10 tips, you will definitely succeed in this class!  Hope you have an amazing year!  And don't forget that Mrs. Robins is the BEST teacher in the history of teachers!

8- ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS put your phone on silent before entering the class room, if it rings Mrs. Robins will answer it!

9- Put on your "thinking cap" becaues you will learn sooooo much and will defientaly be smarter at the end of the year.

10-Don't be absent all the time, it is not always easy to get cauget up. If your grade is at a B for most of the trimester you will get kicked out! Again, don't be absent!

10 Tips to Succeed in Honors!

To all you brand new seventh grade honors students, congrats on making
it into Mrs. Robins's honors class! This class was definitely one of my
favorites this year and I learned so much! Mrs. Robins is seriously the best.
To help you out, here are 10 ways to succeed in Mrs. Robins's honors class!

1. Don't procrastinate! I am seriously the queen of procrastination and it
has bit me in the butt this year, no joke! Get things done as soon as possible,
still doing quality work, and do not wait until the last minute!

2. Read! Seriously, reading is so important and you need to read to succeed!

3. Be organized! Keep a language arts folder or tab in your binder so that
you don’t lose your notes and assignments!

4. Don’t be afraid to ask questions. Mrs. Robins is seriously the nicest
and wants you to succeed in this class! If you need help, don’t be afraid to
ask for it!

5. Take your time. Don’t try to get done with your work way too fast.
Slow down and do quality work. (This goes hand in hand with not
procrastinating because if you procrastinate you won’t have time to do
quality work!)

6. Take notes. Take notes and use all the tools and information that
Mrs. Robins gives you, it will help you out so much!

7. Be prepared. Don’t show up to school without your work done
and try to hurry do it in first period, just get it done the night/day
before! (This goes along with not procrastinating, taking time, and
being organized!)

8. Participate! Go ahead and raise your hand every once in a while!
Answer a question and don’t be scared, Mrs. Robins doesn’t bite!

9. Newspaper - the newspaper is seriously one of the most fun things
we did all year! It’s so cool to be able to contribute to something like this!

10. Work with your classmates! If you want to succeed and have fun
in this class, learn to get along and work well with your classmates.
When you make friends in this class, it’s a whole different world because
it makes your life so much easier!

I hope this helps! And please, please don't ignore this post! I got some pretty awesome advice at the beginning of the year, and ignored kind of a lot of it... Don't! If you use these, you will do so well in Mrs.Robins's class! Good luck this year! - Abbey Mathews :)))

WARNING: FUN ahead!
HI NEW 7TH GRADERS!!
Here's a guide to Language Arts Honors: 7th grade!
  1. FUN The first thing you have to remember is that this is a fun class! Mrs. Robins will try not to do anything that you don't want to do, but she still has you learn something.
  2. NEWSPAPER Doing the newspaper is SOOOOOOO much fun! I really enjoyed it, but it's also a lot of work, depending on what page you have. We trust you (even though we don't know you yet...) We want it to be awesome next year too! 📰
  3. BLOG POST/CONTEST Please, oh please do not forget about the blog post or contest. You have to have 1 each month. If you forget about it, (or procrastinate) you will see your grade start to go down. I suggest doing it early. That's what really helped me.
  4. READ If you don't like to read, your're in trouble. Reading in here is not as demanding as 6th grade, but you still have to read a book every 10 days. It's pretty easy if your a fast reader, but if you're not, read smaller books. Mrs. Robins will help you, just ask her.  📖📚
  5. PROCRASTINATION You will probably see this on just about every blogpost. If you procrastinate/"forget" to turn something in, it is one of the leading causes of entering into a normal Language Arts class. (Well as normal as you can get. Mrs. Robins makes it super fun and strange sometimes. BEWARE the yoga poses!)
  6. WORK TOGETHER It's okay if you like working  alone, but it's WAY better to work with others in your class. Make sure you collect ALL ideas. I'm glad I did. Just warning you! Also you get to make up awesome names for your team. (Go Robin Eggs!)
  7. HELP Ask for help. Mrs. Robins will help you. Don't be afraid. She won't bring you down.
  8. TURN OFF YOUR PHONE! TURN YOUR PHONE ONIf your phone rings in class... Mrs. Robins will pick it up! It's hilarious, but probably not to you.
  9. BE FUNNY This might seem like a weird one, but Mrs. Robins is always up for a good joke. (One time I put my apple "phone" in the phone slot... 🍎She wanted to post it!) Just don't go too far. 😐
  10. WRITE Please know how to write because we write a lot in this class, even for tests! For the blog posts she usually haves you write a fun prompt, but still, learn how to write! You'll get good grades and it's basically the key to this class... 🔑

10 Things You Need To Know To Do Well In Mrs. Robins                                               Honors Class

By Anna Basso

  1. Never try to have a conversation during class. Mrs Robins sees EVERYTHING and she will call you out and it’s pretty funny.
  2. Always turn off your phone when you put it in the holder because if it goes off, Mrs. Robins will answer it and talk to whoever decided to call a 13 year old during school hours.
  3. Don’t procrastinate! This one is super repeated, but I’m gonna say it one more time. DO YOUR WORK ON TIME, otherwise it will pretty much haunt you forever.
  4. Always bring a book. In honors we often finish with extra time and a reading book is really nice to have on hand so that you don’t just sit there and stare off into space.
  5. Just relax! Honors is super chill and fun as long as you do the simple blog post and writing contest and you’re good!
  6. Don't try and read while Mrs Robins is talking, she WILL call you out and everyone laughsツ
  7. Remember to read during the year! The reading part is pretty simple, and I don’t know anyone who truly hates reading, therefore just sit down and do it!
  8. Do any extra credit you can, because if you don’t keep your grade above a B you will be kicked out!
  9. Have a sense of humor! In this class, everyone gets teased at one point in the year, so just laugh! (also, Mrs Robins is really funny and she has a great sense of humor, so learn from her)
  10. Be able to work well with others. During language arts, we often get to do fun projects with our table groups and if you don’t know how to get along with everyone then you will have a very difficult year.

2. Sign up as fast as you can for the school newspaper section you want or you won't get it!

3. READ, READ, READ! The iRead 40 club party is so much fun!

4. Take your time on tests. (you'll do better) Mrs. Robins will let you come in to advisory if you need to! She even let's you get drinks and eat snacks during Sage testing!

5. You will have to put your device in a pocket during class so you can't play on it! I am warning you right now turn your device on silent!!! Mrs. Robins will answer your call or text if the phone goes off! I can't tell you how many times that has happened (those crazy telemarketers)

6. Listen in class! All the tests you take will be on what she has been talking to you about! Plus, you will get your work done faster!

7. Learn how to work well with others. You will be doing a lot of assignments with your table groups.

8. Do not turn in assignments or books late. You will start new assignments and if you still haven't turned in the old ones you will fall behind! (no pressure)

9. Keep your grade higher than a B! You will be kicked out of the honors class if you don't. If that means doing extra credit do it!

10. Prepare your hands! During this class you will be doing essays and the daily writing in your writers notebook!

I just hope that you guys all know that you have been put with the best teacher, actually my favorite teacher ever! She will make you the happiest most smart person on earth! If the assignment is hard Mrs. Robins will give you more time or assist you! The waffle party and Christmas party will help you get through the year too! Have fun and be prepared for the happiest time of your life!

Seventh grade is a fun year. However, it can be hard if you don't do these ten things.

1. Do not talk while the teacher is talking. If you  are a good kid you can turn in bad work and still get an A. Just Kidding.

2. Read and write for fun. This will help on almost every test this year.

3. Don't stress. Just do your work and Mrs. Robins will probably give you candy every once in a while just for doing it.

4. Do not Procrastinate. I did it all year in 6 grade, but this year your grade will not be able to handle it.

5. Get lots of Robins Rewards. It is free candy.

6. If you are ever bored Go to this website https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Potato. It stimulates your brain and helps you feel calm.

7. If Mrs. Robins tells you to read, do it. You will probably get robins rewards.

8. Stay on task. I really struggled with this.

9. Don't zone out. Or else you will be that one guy who is always asking their friends what to do.

10. Read 40 Books. The party is awesome.

Welcome to the Thunder Dome, young one.

So you want to be in Robin's?
A ten-step list & explanation on how I tried to succeed
By Gabriella Dutson
(You might know me, I went to three classes to tell you why you should apply for this class!)

Greetings, it seems we have fresh meat. Do not fear, children, for Gabby is here to explain how to get by in this amazing class.

#10; Do your reading.
  • You never know when those book deadlines are going to sneak up on your grade and prey upon its remains life a wolf on a lamb.
#9; Fill out Book Trackers.

  • It only takes about five minutes, and you can do it from any device. It isn't that hard.
#8; Use her Library.

  • You only go to the library once every two weeks, so why not use the one you go to daily in the classroom? Borrowing books from Mrs. Robins is easy, and she has all the best reads in there.
#7; Do Not Fear What You Don't Know.

  • Mrs. Robins is great at making sure your grades are up and that you know what you're doing. This class shouldn't be a hassle unless you're lazy. If you are, leave now.
#6; Respect Mrs. Robin's Decisions.

  • She's the boss. Maybe she decides to postpone book trackers or makes fun of a random kid for doing something dumb. It's all for the best, and all in good fun. She couldn't hurt a fly! (Unless the fly hurt one of you, then prepare for her to go Superman on that poor thing.)
#5; Be Prepared.

  • You have no idea how screwed you'll be if you don't do your reading. You miss out, get low scores, and there's a small chance your parents might be ashamed of you. Depends on who you are.
#4; Procrastination in General.

  • Sooooo many people in my class have grades that have plummeted by putting things off to the last minute. Especially on contest entries and blog posts. Just do it early on and enjoy your A. Like, it's so simple. Don't be like me.
#3; Writing Contests.

  • They're unbelievably fun to write, trust me. This is coming from a person who recently won one,  which included me getting a free book and a letter from the editor. You will lay awake at night thinking about how you didn't do one at least once, so heed my words; THEY'RE FUN, STOP BEING LAZY.
#2; Have Good Manners.

  • If you're kind, honest and mannerly, you will definitely get on Mrs. Robins' good side. She doesn't focus her attention only on your grades, but on your attitude and your feelings. Literally, just don't be a buttface. There are too many kids in this class right NOW that are kind around teachers but reckless and vulgar with friends.
#1; Make iRead 40 Club.

  • Getting in the iRead 40 Club is one of the coolest and rewarding feelings you can have. Finally, you did it! And it wasn't even that hard! Not to mention you get a sick t-shirt, a king-sized candy bar, AND entry into the end-of-the-year party! I haven't gone yet, it's in a few weeks, but it's gonna lit. I can already tell. So join iRead! It's 100% worth it!

Thank you for reading. This is my first effort-filled post in a while and I'm glad to see it shine. Have fun in Robins' you little nerds, and never forget the Robin Eggs;
Mrs. Robin's officially stated favorite table team.
