Hi, this is Will Warner, I just finished last years Honors blog and one main piece of advice is not to procrastinate. Personally, I do this a lot I just make excuses not to. Last year I kept my grades up surprisingly, but I did all my homework the day it was due and it was really stressful.  This year I will definitely work on this since I will have lots of homework. Another set of advice is to read a lot. I like to read as long as I am reading a good book. If I get into a really good book I can read forever. Since I am in honors I have to read a lot, and I think I will come to like it more.  The last piece of advice I got was to just relax. This is hard for me because I'm always worried about my grades and so caught in work. I can never relax without worrying about something. This is also something I can work.
I have never loved writing. I don't really have a favorite type of writing, but I like to free write. If my teacher assigns free write I'd be most happy. Last year we did a lot of that and that made language arts fun for me. Following a prompt is still fun as long as it is a good prompt.  I started writing in preschool like most kids and really liked it. I guess as I've gotten older I have started liking it less. Writing has kinda come naturally to me I've never really had to study super hard for it. I don't consider myself a good writer, but I'm not bad at it. That's all I have until next time on this blog.

  2. Good job Will! You are a really good writer, the only thing I can see that could be considered to change is instead of using kinda maybe change it to kind of. Everything you wrote was really good, I can't wait to see more!

  3. Overall, nice work! You did well! Although, there was a run-on sentence or two. But this was still a pretty awesome job!

  6. Great job will! I like how you were super honest about procrastinating. It was also good because you didn't talk about the same thing a lot, I didn't get what the last sentence of paragraph one meant.

  7. Great work Will! I appreciate your careful reading of last year's advice and your honesty about your own writing. NO worries, you will most certainly be improving and have the chance to do all types of writing! If you revise, I'd love to see more on the best free writes you've done (give me some advice)! Thanks:)
