Christmas Tradition

My family has many Christmas traditions that we do every year, and here is one of my favorites. In Germany, the Christmas season doesn't start at the end of November like here, the Christmas spirit really starts on the 24th, (Christmas Eve). Then is the time to start decorating the tree, the time to celebrate, and to enjoy the Christmas spirit. Because I have German ancestors, my family likes to celebrate this tradition somewhat. Luckily my family doesn't start having fun on the 24th, but on Christmas Eve we have a special Christmas Eve dinner, and open one present after we have eaten. Although that is not the only tradition my family does, it is probably one of my favorites. Merry Christmas!
