Hi guys! I'm Jocelyn Olson. I just finished reading the advice from last years honors language arts students. The three main things that I saw were, 1. DON'T PROCRASTINATE. This is a big habit of mine. I always find myself waiting until the last minute to do things. Just like how I am writing on the blog two days before it is due! 2. Pay attention. This is big too, because if you don't pay attention, you won't know what to do. 3. Read. Obviously we should read, because we are in honors language arts and we are required to read to keep our grade up. I think that as I do these things this year they will help me be stress free, and enjoy reading and writing.

I like only enjoy writing certain things, like fantasy, but I don't really like writing informative or argumentative. I like writing things that include magic and things that take you away from the real world. It helps me use my imagination. I hope that by the end of the year I will be able to enjoy writing other things than fantasy.

  1. Yours was really great and I loved it! Towards the middle of the first paragraph, in the place where it says "This is big too," you do not need the comma there because there is because after, also with taking out the comma, it could be good if you replaced the period before it with a comma.

  3. Yours was really good, in fact so good that I couldn't find anything wrong with until I read the other comments. You had really good transitions that made it all really smooth, but I agree with the other posts I don't think you need a comma right there.
