My Families Christmas Tradition
By: Kennedie Harris
Out of all the traditions my family and I do around Christmas, my all time favorite is doing kind acts of service! Last year we did Twelve Days of Christmas to an older family with two disabled 40 year old kids. To this day I still see them wearing the watches we gave them. The year before that we all went to the nursing home and sang to the elderly. We also talked to them and bought them presents for Christmas. Some other things we have done is, going caroling for the families nearby who don't get very much company, buying presents for the kids who don't have very much money and giving cookies to the people in the homeless shelter. I look forward to this every year and it makes me so happy whenever I see the peoples faces light up as we do the acts of service. The feeling that it brings when we do this tradition is so amazing. And I can't wait to continue on with it this year.
That is so good! Maybe just make it a little longer but over all it was really good! And that sounds like a really fun tradition
ReplyDeleteThat's a great tradition Kennedie! I love it! I couldn't really find any mistakes, but I guess you could make it a little longer. But overall, it was great!

ReplyDeleteGood job Kennedie! I love how you included how it made you feel. Like everyone else said, length would improve it but overall, awesome!
