10 things you HAVE to do to get a good grade in Mrs. Robins class By: Courtney Derrick
To all the new kids reading this, you are so lucky to have Mrs. Robins as your new Language Arts teacher! She is the most kind hearted person ever, and will make sure you get everything she teaches. However, if you want to do good in her class, you have to follow these rules.
1: DO NOT PROCRASTINATE! (I know you are going to hear this a lot, but procrastination is a very stupid idea. I procrastinated a lot this year and it was very hard for me to catch up. So put down the phone and get your work done! This is a very good tip for writing contests and blog posts.)
2: Read, Read, READ! (Reading is a very good idea to do at home because you get robins rewards a lot if you read at home. You also get into the I read 40 club and it's super fun!)
3: Get robins rewards! (There are many ways you can get robins rewards. Luckily for you, Mrs. Robins is a great teacher so she hands them out a lot! There are very fun prizes you can win by getting robins rewards)
4: Don't have a bad attitude. (Mrs. Robins is a very cheerful and nice person. She will do anything for you, so be happy when you're around her and you'll do better. Trust me, it helps.)
5: Stay organized. (You have a binder for a reason! Use it!)
6: Use your time wisely! (Mrs. Robins gives you plenty of time to do your assignments, you just have to use all your time wisely and don't talk.)
7: Listen with your eyes, your ears, and your body. (Okay were about to get back into 1st grade when the teacher told you to listen with your whole body, but it really helps in her class, and every class! When you truly listen with your ears you can understand what she's saying. Listening with your eyes means that you are watching what she is doing and making sure you get it. Listening with your body means that you are truly into it and not laying you head on your desk or anything like that.)
8: If needed, take notes! (Taking notes is a spectacular idea, especially if you don't get the subject. It will help you with studying, and overall make you preform better.)
9: Ask Mrs. Robins for help. (Mrs. Robins is the nicest person ever! If you need help, you can just ask her! She will help you in the nicest way possible!)
10: Participate in class. (Participating in the class will help Mrs. Robins know that you are really listening, and also help you get better at the subject!)
