The Sound.....
I took off my Halloween costume, washed the paint off my face, put on my pajamas, brushed my teeth, and went to bed. I was almost asleep when I first heard the sound I thought it was just my sister Kayley coming home from work, but after a while I heard it again...and again....and again! At this point, I knew that I had to go and see what was wrong. So I jumped out of my bed got my game face on and started searching (with my brother's baseball bat just incase something bad happened). As I searched I still kept hearing the sound it sounded like someone saying,"rigger, rigger, rigger" in a crackly voice!! I thought of many reasons why there was this sound...maybe someone was robbing my house, or maybe someone was at the door and REALLY wanted to talk? I had no idea!!! After about fifteen minutes of searching for the sound, I was just about to give up until the sound started to get louder!! I looked everywhere I could, but it still was ABSOLUTELY no where!!
At 11:13 exact, my sister Kayley walked in the front door and asked why I was holding my brother Easton's baseball bat. I told her that there was a scary sound somewhere in the house and I was using the baseball bat for protection. She laughed and suggested that she should help me find the sound. So we looked....and looked...and looked, and the sound still continued to get louder. At about 11:30 it was so loud I could barely hear what Kayley was saying! Funny story, she said, " We should look outside" and I thought she said,"He is cooking a pie!" So I started to run into random places in and out of my house to find some pie to eat! Sadly, there was no pie. Anyways, back to the story, so I finally ended up being able to hear her and we started to look outside. It turns out the sound the whole time was our new neighbor cutting down an old sixty foot tall pine tree!!!!
I WAS SO MAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had stayed up for about two hours now looking for the sound, and all it was, was our new neighbor cutting down a tree the whole time!!!! I was about to scream!!!!!! Until Easton walked in the door. (He gets mad if I even touch one little thing of his, and here I am right in front of him holding his favorite "LUCKY" baseball bat as he calls it!) He was so mad at me!!! At about 11:50 my parents finally came home and of course... I was grounded for a month...........again!!!!!

That was awesome! I liked how you used your imagination to create this story, though I do agree with Averi, you could have fixed the part where it says "Anyways, back to the story", but overall, the story was great! Awesome job! :)
ReplyDeleteI really liked your story! It was funny too! I like the pie part, haha. I agree with Jocelyn and Averi. You could have fixed that, or just left it out. Other than that this was a really good story, I really liked it!
ReplyDeleteGood job kennedie!! That was amazing! I agree with them. You cold have just left that part out, but other than that it was good!
ReplyDeleteGreat work Kennedie! I can tell it was well thought-out and fun to read. I liked the surprise ending, I didn't anticipate that one:) As you revise, watch your dialogue punctuation, it was kind of wonky in places. Be sure to clarify what you are writing about. Overall, fun story & great work!
