        Dear Mrs. Gubler,


                I heard you were inviting a celebrity to our school. I think it would be a great idea to invite Michael Jordan. Even though he's retired, he was the greatest basketball player of all time. He could tell some great stories of trying and failing and trying again. Did you know he was kicked off his high school basketball team because he "lacked talent"? Michael Jordan would encourage everyone to try again and shoot for the stars. Also, everyone loves Michael Jordan and would be a great hit at our school.

    Great idea Anna! Excellent start, I'd add more detail as you revise. Really liked your reason about how Jordan overcame hard things. Very cool. Great work!
