Dear Mrs. Gubler,
I heard you are looking for a celebrity to come to our school and talk to all the students. I think someone that should come to our school is Suzanne Collins. She is an amazing author! She wrote the Hunger Games series. If you haven't read them I recommend you do. She also wrote the Gregor series and much more. She started off as writing children television shows like, Little Bear and Clifford Puppy Days. In 2008 she released The Hunger Games. It became a very well-know book. She then released Catching Fire in 2009 and Mocking jay in 2010. This series became very popular and a majority of the people you ask will know what this series is. Suzanne Collins would be a great person to come to the school.
Sincerely, Kamree R

I think Suzanne Collins is a great idea. She is a great author and many students love her books. One thing you could add is some detail on why she would be good to come to our school, but keep up the great writing.
ReplyDeleteSuzanne Collins would be a great person to come to our school, one thing you do better is make it a little longer. Other than that, you did great. Keep up the good writing
ReplyDeleteThat was a really good letter! You could talk more about why you want her to come to our school. It was really good!
ReplyDeleteI'd fan-girl out if Suzanne Collins came. I've loved her since Gregor was released. Great job doing a little background research on her writing career. As you revise, add a little more detail, but your spelling and grammar were totally on point! Well done.
