Hi this is Sydney Healy!! After reading last years blog post I have come up with my top 3 best pieces of advice for this year. The first and most important piece of advice is don't procrastinate! This kind of goes along with staying on top off reading. I know exactly how it feels when you procrastinate because after a month long vacation with no homework and no school website I had a whole month worth of homework to do and  still had to do the work we were doing in class. So this year I am going to try my best to get my work done on time. The second most important piece of advice is to pay attention. If I don't pay attention in class I find it so hard to finish homework. As it gets deeper and deeper in the school year i find it so much harder to focus in class. This is definitely something I need to work on. The third most important piece of advice Is to have fun!!! If I took all my school work too seriously my writing wouldn't be as creative and I wouldn't enjoy reading as much.

My favorite type of writing is creative. I love a little magic but I am not into total fantasy and wizards. I love reading and writing about tragedies that glue peoples eyes to the page. I love free writing because it always grows my imagination to think up a new story. I love to imagine myself as the characters I read and write about. I am so exited for honors language arts this year!!!

  1. Good job Sydney! I didn't find one mistake in that whole essay! I love the way you think about things. I totally agree with you that if you don't pay attention in class that homework will be harder.
